    Educators Rising

    Educators Rising is a community-based program that promotes increased teacher diversity. The organization embraces the calling of teaching as a profession while giving students an opportunity to get clinical experience with accomplished teachers even before college. Participants will be recognized as student leaders and advocates for education.

    FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America)

    FBLA helps high school students prepare for careers in business through academic competitions, leadership development, and educational programs.

    FCCLA is a national organization for young men and women in FCS education. FCCLA is about making a difference in families, careers, and communities by addressing important personal, work, and societal issues. Must have taken FCS class in the past.

    GRC Interact - Rotary

    Community Service Club that provides opportunities for young people to work together. The goals of Interact are to recognize and develop constructive leadership, personal integrity, and discover the power of Service Above Self. The Interact Club also provides scholarship opportunities.

    Our organization seeks to provide a safe, supportive, fun community for people who fall anywhere on the gender spectrum- gay, straight, lesbian, bisexual, asexual, nonbinary, trans, questioning, etc. We aim to forward the basic truth that all people are equal and deserve respect and dignity; to dispel ignorance that feeds fear and hate; and to advocate for those who suffer as a result of that ignorance.

    Mock Trial Team

    Mock Trial is a competitive organization in which schools are given a complete court case with witness statements and evidence. As a team, you prepare direct examinations, cross examinations, opening statements, and closing arguments to compete against other schools in an actual trial (most of the time in an actual courtroom)!

    National Art Honor Society (NAHS)

    A high school honor society that inspires students with outstanding ability and keen interest in visual arts. Must be a high school student who has completed at least one semester of art here at GRC and passed with a C or higher. To be eligible for membership, you must have (and maintain) a minimum scholarship average of a C or higher.

    National Beta Club

    National Beta Club is the largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization in America. And for 80 years, it has prepared today’s students to be tomorrow's leaders. To promote the ideals of achievement, character, service, and leadership among elementary and secondary school students. Each member is invited based on their GPA. You must have a GPA above 3.5 to join the club.

    The Y-Club program provides high school students a chance to participate in hands-on activities that develop leadership skills, help one understand the importance of civic responsibility, and enhance our community through service projects. This organization allows students to put democracy in action by participating in the KYA and KUNA Conferences and meeting with other schools from around the state.
